Sage Miller, 2nd generation Timber Framer, on chasing sixteenths
Sage is an Installation Supervisor and a 2nd generation timber framer who speaks softly and carries a big slick. An outdoorsman who enjoys most anything outside, Sage notes that this comes in handy when you live in a town located near the borders of Tennessee and Virginia and close to the Appalachian Trail, the Blue Ridge Parkway, mountain balds, and some of the country’s best small stream fly-fishing. Sage’s dad, Chris Miller, co-founded the company with Eric Morley, and we’re delighted Sage is part of the crew.
My most interesting neighbor ever was: My dad. He shows up at random times and he’s always into something.
I get exercise by: working.
How do you unwind from work? sit in my chair, have a beer, and feed my fish in the pond.
What advice do you have for aspiring timber framers? eat well, and don’t chase sixteenths.
