Three days on a lakeside site. Four double bents, 45,000 lbs. of precut timber, 754 white oak pegs, a crane, and a crew that knows what they’re doing. This film follows the raising of a timber framed Sports barn — from the first bent going vertical to the crew driving the last pegs by headlight.
What a great video. Really. A raising I’d have loved to be there for. But, on my big monitor, in 4k, was the next best thing. Standing up the bents, and, waiting for the slack when the frame went vertical – I was puckering as if I was on site. The smell. The tired feet at the end of the day. The inspired home owner. The video captures it well. This really is wonderful.

I was on the edge of my seat – and I was there! I think it does a great job showing the drama, the process, and most importantly, the teamwork of an impressive raising.

The video is spectacular and really captures the essence of the project and the complexities of the installation. We love it.
